Race Boat Crashes On Lake Guntersville

In a test run this afternoon, the Seattle-based Hormel Spam hydroplane lost control and crashed while preparing for next weekend's Southern Cup on Lake Guntersville.

The driver, Craig Montgomery, was unhurt. He says the boat is not repairable in time for the race. "Unfortunately this boat is showing its age. We found cracked frames in the hull."

The alpha channel of the texture controls the glossiness. I believe that black is matte and white is glossy. The existing textures use a grayish, I don't remember the exact value.

@cp65 No, you'll just have to pass around the IP address for now. It will DNS resolve the address you put in which is why it works if you put www.uhlhydroplanes.com in there.

I got all that figured out but now my steering wheel won't bind.

Our signature season, the Saturday Night Hydro League, takes place in the winter time where the racing gets real competitive!

@gavin-mcclure Hey Gavin, the plan is to add more classes like GP’s and other inboard categories in the future, but that’s a ways away still.

You can create custom paint schemes with pretty much any image editing software like Photoshop, you just need to save/convert it to a .dds file for it to show up in game. A scheme also has to be downloaded by other people for them to see it in their game.
