    Sat. Jan. 14th Detroit River… The Thunder Valley Racing League is back in full swing and Jamie Ashby continues to dominate. Ashby in the U-18 Venom won 2 of his 3 heats and then nailed the start in the Final and never looked back to claim his 17th HydroMod victory. His monster 1465 point night put him within 194 points of High Points leader and Fanuc Robotics Cup Top Qualifier Derek Hysell in the U-20 Miss Playboy. Aaron Stewart in the U-2 Oh Boy! Oberto had a huge night as well winning 2 heats and placing 2nd on the Podium for a race high 1470 points.

    Tue. Jan. 10th Detroit River… The future is here! Kallen Washburn in his state of the art Thriftway Too becomes the 1st driver to win a TNHV race in a cabover. Washburn won 2 of his 3 heats including the final to claim the Bronze Cup and the High Points lead after 1 race. Jamie Ashby in the U-18 Thunderbolt was unbeatable all night nailing starts and not looking back until he jumped the gun in the final.

    Jamie Ashby Continues His TVRL UL/GP Domination

    Tue. Jan. 7th Mission Bay… TVRL is back and Jamie Ashby is on fire. Ashby in the UL-929 Ice Harbor continued where he left off and increased his high points lead to 842 after only 2 of 6 races. Brian Montgomery in GP-101 Groupe ABS traded heats with Ashby in prelims but was no match when it came to the trophy race. The UL-929 has won 1 Top Qualifier, 5 of 6 of his prelims and both final heats in this still young season. We’ll see if anyone can slow Ashby down.

    Ryan Yates Kicks Off S10 With A Win

    Tue. Jan. 3 Detroit River… Ryan Yates in the GP-17 Shockwave claimed his 2nd TNH UL/GP victory after winning 2 of 3 preliminary heats and then the Final. Yates stuck close to the buoy line, avoided trouble and cruised to a big victory to start Season #10. Jamie Ashby won Top Qualifier and all of his preliminary heats but was encroached upon to slow him at the start and then he flipped in the first turn. Ashby in GP-77 Steeler still scored enough to lead the field in points with 1469.

    John Steach Freedom Cup & TNHM S9 Champion

    John Steach Wins Freedom Cup & TNHM S9 High Points Race

    Tue. Dec. 13th Mission Bay… John Steach had a monster night winning 3 of his 4 heats including the Trophy Race to claim the Cup and the S9 High Points Championship. Going into the Final race of the season he held a 1036 point lead and increased that cushion to 1422 by the end of the night to take home his 1st HydroMod Title. Steach hit the start flyin’ inside of HydroMod Titans Derek Hysell U-6 Miss Madison and Jamie Ashby 88 Degree Men. By the end of Lap 1 he had solidified his position at the front of the field and ran away with the Freedom Cup.
