How to set up a Thrustmaster T150 for the hydrosim?
I need help please.
@jean-philippe-poulin Just getting back trying again, Thrustmaster still not working. I don't know if its supportted by the new system
@rustygears I'm not sure, I'm in the process of switching the game over to using Unity's new input system. Have you tried the control tester app that I put up in this thread http://www.uhlhydroplanes.com/topic/239/unity-new-input-system-testing
I just downloaded the new mod. It's been a long time I played the game. I still have my T150 wheel. I can't get it to work.
I tried the control tester, but my wheel does not seems to be responding to this app.
In the game itself, all the button on the wheel seem to be responsive except my pedals.
Am I doing something wrong, or I just have a wheel that does not work plain and simple?
Thank you Scott.
@jean-philippe-poulin Unfortunately, support for wheels / pedals is not great with Unity's new input system. It is possible to add support for just about anything, unfortunately it's near impossible for me to fix without the hardware.
I will probably look into an alternative solution using a custom DirectInput plugin. In fact someone else expanded on the Force Feeback code that I wrote and created a full DirectInput solution to Unity's input system. I'll probably look into using that.
I actually been able to get my pedals to work. Now. When I up on the course, I have a very hard time to keep the boat going straight. It always seems to want to go left or right.
But the bottom line is my thrustmaster is not the best wheel to play this mod.
Thanks for the help.
