Hi, I own a new vr headset that was released pretty recently called DPVR E4. It’s a steam based vr headset and runs all games on steam as well as standalone games such as DCS and il2. I set the vr setting to openVR and when I try to launch the sim nothing happens. I’m in the steamVR menu while the sim is in the main menu. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if this is helpful but the g29 work great. I know you have the g920 listed but yeah. G29 works great. Good job.

First off I'm thoroughly impressed on the direction of hydrosim. The new physics make me feel the realistic feeling of what it would possibly be like to be inside of the cockpit. The way the boat bounces side to side (chine walk?) Is just unbelievable lol. I raced rc hydroplanes I converted 1/8 scale unlimited hydroplane miss lumar to a brushless 8s 44.4v monster. It was pucker level 8 when near full throttle.

Okay, so I seem to have more precise control of the boat while in vr. This leads to my curiosity.

¹ is racing in vr allowed?

² what does the future hold for vr immersion? (Cockpit details etc) I noticed an upgrade in looks (it's been almost a year since I played)

³ does it seem likely that we will see water effects on the windshield?

first off I want to thank whoever is behind the creation of this sim. this sim blew me away. I went on steam community to promote boat racing sims and nobody has replied. after some youtubing I found some vids on this sim and nearly fell off my stool. I honestly feel like im dreaming because I didn't think there was anything more than just rfactor. and to see that there is a way to implement vr I really feel like running around my block butt naked in excitement.

Im new to pc gaming and I purchased a prebuilt at near $2000. it runs great.

I need help getting this set up in vr. what does it mean to create a short cut? target? can someone kindly walk me through this? . im in my infancy in pc gaming. again thank you to all!!!
