HydroSim Alpha v0.5.2.2

@craigmont said in HydroSim Alpha v0.5.2.1:
@nlj04 You don't need rfactor to run HydroSim.
Correct, HydroSim is a standalone game, you don't need anything else to run it.
HydroMod is the old "game" that was a mod for rFactor. I wouldn't worry about that if you're new.
-
@jeffdewalt Yeah, I agree its a bit difficult to find your bearings without landmarks. I'll eventually get to it. For the Roostertail turn, just look for the yachts for now
-
. It's going to be interesting that's for sure
-
So if you don't need rFactor now that I know, how do you start it from beginning.
Just asking if someone could help me! -
@nlj04 HydroMod is just a modification for the game rFactor. The mod has been discontinued, and all development has shifted to the new, standalone HydroSim game. All you need to do is download HydroSim from the page on this website, and then when it is done, extract those files to a different location.

Thank you guys for the help!
I will return the favor whenever needed! -
And last question. Does it run on windows 10? Because that's what I have.
-
@nlj04 Yes
-
Thank you Cei!
-
Damn it. I need a tutorial video because I usually never do this, going to the files and messing with it. This is like a first to me. I might need a tutorial video if anyone has a suggestion it would help.
-
Damn I am dumb
-
@nlj04 You're ok man, don't fret, I messaged you some more detailed instructions.
-
Hey guys! Looking forward to trying the Mac version out. Just downloaded it.

That game for first view was incredible! The water tail as I call it was amazing! The boats were amazing! Just need to fix the scenery up a little bit' add the Bridge at the Tri City's and some people and maybe a dock you leave off of and some of the graphics. But this game looks amazing! One of the best games, no lie. That I have ever played! Thank you Scott for relieving one of my favorite sports of all time!
-
I also understand it is in Alpha so there is a lot to be done. But this looks amazing for Alpha. Scott you are doing a wonderful job.
-
Great to see more race courses! There seems to be a bug on Tri-Cities where the start/finish buoys aren't aligned with the actual start/finish line, which seems to be a bit further down the straightaway.
-
@DJ-Miller Ah yeah, you are correct, I will fix that.
-
How about the Doha, Qatar course?
-
Do they still go to Qatar? I don't know if they do.
-
@nlj04 No, that deal fell through because Qatar ran out of money. Thatβs also the reason Peters & May is no longer a sponsor.
